My name is Kris and I am from Poland. In summer 2008 we spent four week of our holiday in Canada. We – it means the parents and two girls (seven and nine years). The idea was to spend this time in an English School – together, but in class, the pass to the level of each from us.

We want to learn English, but also to have our time for us. And for me it was more as difficult: with more as fifty back in the school. In this situation I met Lubna Zaidi, my English teacher for conversation.

Already in the first class the whole stress was out. And I learned more, as I thought. Lubna make her lesson in huge tempo; understand to find direct contact with every student and know have to show a lot of helpful program to study alone after the time at school.

I attended Access Language School in Toronto from March to May 2008. Lubna Zaidi was my teacher in Grammar Class and my improvements especially in Essay writing are due to her teaching. She is a strict teacher and expected a lot from me but she gave me the security that I could do it and I could. We had a lot of homework to do but Lubna always marked our essays explicitly and gave us long feedback in she which not just listed our mistakes but explained ways how we could improve. She also marked extra papers we did, gave us tips about alternative ways of language practise (e.g. on the internet) or engaged in other problems or questions we had regarding TOEFL etc. She spent her lunch break with helping me with my essay writing and gave me helpful tips I can still use at university.

I'm very grateful for everything she has done for me and recommend her to everyone who is interested in learning or improving the English language.

My name is Josef Kimberger and I’m from Germany. Last summer I spent about a month in the beautiful town of Toronto/Canada in order to improve my English and to sit my TOEFL exam. From the beginning on I was taught by Lubna Zaidi in most of my classes and it was her who gave me that great tuition in my Toefl preperation classes. Beside the difficult, but also successful task of improving my grammar and certain other skills, she also managed to evaporate my constant fear of actually sitting my exam. I really liked going in her classes, because I always felt that I had just improved myself again, every time I left the classroom. But nontheless it was also an enjoyment to work with the other students in my class. To work with others on some of the tasks was a great help and it also forged a tight bound of friendship between us as we had so much fun. In the end all the work paid off and I received a score in my exams beyond my expectations. And I was not the only one...

But beside that I can only recommend going to a country as Canada. It had such a wide range of diversity, so that I first had to get used to it. In Canada, there are lots of things to do, especially in the greater area around it. Trips to beautiful spots, sightseeing in town, and even a good nightlife were some major highlights during my stay. So in a conclusion I would come always back to Toronto.

I took a Toefl preparation course with Mrs. Zaidi. When I first came to her classes I wasn’t even able to finish a Toefl test on time, after only 6 weeks I set the Toefl exam with an excellent result of 102 from maximum 120 points, which is more than enough to apply for a leading university.

Because of her long experience in teaching English to foreigners she uses a range of useful and interesting methods but most important she really makes you work. I remember that after her classes I was so tired, it was like I had 3 lessons in one. And when someone was tired and wanted to give up, she will encourage us and made us going ahead and reach our Toefl goals, thus I took an outstanding Toefl result.

She is very responsible too, after I left Canada she kept teaching me on line every day until my Toefl exam day, what I’m trying to say is that she feels the responsibility of the student’s results.

My name is Lukas Rudari and I had the pleasure of having Mrs.Zaidi as my teacher. In her TOEFL classes she encouraged every single student to give his or her best. She not only helped us during the regular class hours but also offered to us the possibility to have video-conferences with her. I can fully recommend Mrs.Zaidi. She was the best English teacher I’ve ever had and you will not regret going to her classes. It paid off for me. My name is Youssif Benzablah. I'm from Libya.I'm doing my bachler degree in science at University of Manitoba, Canada. Teacher Lubna used to be my teacher for toefl. Actually when I came here to canada, toefl was big challenge to me. With all help and support I got from Lubna I was able to jump over this barrier and keep going in my academic education.

I believe that Lubna is a teacher has something unique just to her that is difficult to be found in other teachers. She won't just help to achieve your goals as student learn English, she will also enable you to discover your talent and explore your skills. I remember that her class was a mixture of both obtaining knowledge and having fun at the same time. For me, I don't consider Lubna as my best teacher but also as my best friend.
